When you are starting your Doterra business it will help if you have a solid list of customers and prospects already lined up and ready to purchase your oils. Start by writing down 50 names of people that you believe will be interested in purchasing Doterra essential oils or becoming a Doterra distributor. There is a chance that only a small amount will buy anything or become a distributor, so continuously update your list.
However, small is all you need, so once you have you first consultant help them build their team by helping and supporting them. Start by helping them write their list of 50 names with the assistance of your enroller.
For the more technically minded, consider using a mailing service such as Mailchimp to keep your list in order. This will make it easier to update customers and prospects about new developments in Doterra such as products and offers.
Should I use Doterra business cards when I become a Doterra Consultant?
There is an argument for Doterra business cards for sharing your business and products, but I am more skeptical since we live in a digital and technology-driven society. Technology has become a more accepted medium for reaching out to customers and prospects. However, there is something to be said about personal relationships and meeting someone in person for a coffee.
So consider integrating the two by using smartphone business cards such as Inigo cards where you can add a webpage, email, social media and even video. I have personally found this method very effective but I really prefer getting the prospect information such as name and email address so I can reach out to them later.
Creating leads for your warm leads list should be your main goal when building your business. We already know from the start that we will run out of family and friends in quicktime, so we need to find other means of finding prospects and customers for our Doterra business.
The fact is more leads, means more customers, means more money!
I personally use many other methods, but will share just a few with you all below which will help you get started building your business as fast as possible.
So, you can develop a new contact list, by using methods such as creating Doterra essential oil draws at your local social event, church social or office where participates give their name, email address and telephone number to have the opportunity to win some oils or a diffuser.
